I have been working in the town and regional planning field for almost three decades and possess extensive experience in town and regional planning, property development rights acquisition, project management, and other related property matters. These include environmental impact assessments, heritage assessments, traffic studies, water quality management plans, and infrastructure considerations which are done by professionals in the various fields. I have a deep understanding of development and application processes, as well as negotiations with relevant municipal and government departments involved in property development.

I am the founder of Urban Rural South Africa, established in 2004. Our main focus is on preparing and submitting land use applications to obtain development and land use rights for our clients. While we offer our services throughout South Africa, our firm specializes in land use applications within the Western Cape Province. Urban Rural SA has successfully submitted over 150 land use applications to various municipalities in the Western Cape Province and has gained a strong reputation for providing excellent service in our field. We have established positive relationships with consultants from various disciplines, including attorneys, architects, engineers, environmental consultants, heritage consultants, and water specialists, who can join our multidisciplinary team if required. We strive to achieve the desired results for our clients with every project and application.

My team and I are committed to upholding a high level of integrity, ethical standards, and personal values. These qualities have proven to be a source of pride throughout the years, and we aim to continue providing exceptional service to our clients. We strive to make their involvement in the development and marketing of their properties as exciting and professional as possible.

In terms of qualifications, I hold a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development Planning and Management from Stellenbosch University, a National Higher Diploma in Town and Regional Planning from the Cape Technicon and a certificate of recognition as a Property Practitioner in Real Estate (PPRE) from the Estate Agency Affairs Board of South Africa. I am registered with the South African Council for Planners as a Technical Town Planner and with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) of South Africa as a Full Status Agent with a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC).
